Canine Physiotherapy

A dog is man’s best friend whether they are a working dog or a much loved family member. A dogs behaviour can usually tell us something isn`t right, for example not jumping into the car or going up stairs anymore. Common conditions that affect dogs and can cause pain or a change on function are spinal problems, soft tissue injury and osteoarthritis to name a few. Physiotherapy can help with all these conditions and work alongside your vet to get your dog back on track.

Orthopaedic surgery is now common in the canine and post operative physiotherapy can help with pain relief, swelling, weight bearing and restoring normal function.

Physiotherapy can help with…

  • Soft tissue injuries
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Hip or elbow dysplasia
  • Post orthopaedic surgery
  • Performance issues
  • Lameness
  • Change in normal behaviour
  • Neurological problems/surgery
